RT Pro racers John Henry and Sean Bogdan dominated the XC2 SxS Pro Sport class at the Big Buck GNCC with John Henry taking the class win and teammate Sean Bogdan finishing second place.

The rough and dusty conditions were no match for the RT Pro team in Union, South Carolina this past weekend, as they charged through the rooted out trails in the second round of GNCC Racing SxS competition.

RT Pro’s John Henry started on the tenth row of his class and grabbed the holeshot. Henry charged hard and picked off the competition one by one and held a fast pace all the way to the checkered flag for the XC2 class win, which was extra special for John because it was the last race this season co-piloted with his son, Colton, who is entering the Army before the next round of GNCC racing. “It was rough out there and it was really tough to pass, but our RT Pro equipment held up great and got us out front. This win is really huge for us; I couldn’t be happier and I hope to do it again,” said John Henry.

Sean Bogdan also ran a smooth and consistent race and claimed a second place finish in the XC2 class. “The competition was huge out there. There was a lot of traffic and it was rough but our RT Pro gear really helped out and we had a good race. Overall, it was a great day with our teammate John Henry winning and us following in second,” said Bogdan.

RT Pro’s Joe Krcelich was leading early in the XC2 class, but a slight issue caused him to back off a bit, but he powered through and claimed a fourth place finish to maintain the XC2 class points lead. “Our RT Pro equipment kept us going out there and got us to the finish line. We are happy with fourth for now. We still have the points lead, and we are hoping for another win at the next round,” said Krcelich.

In the XC1 SxS Pro class, RT Pro’s Mouse Pratt round out the top five in his class, which boosted him to seventh in the championship points race. “Everything worked great out there for us today. Our RT Pro equipment is the best. It was rutted and there were roots everywhere, but our machine handled it. We weathered the storm and came out with a fifth place finish,” said Pratt.

In the Polaris single seat class, Sam Yokley was only able to complete two laps after clipping a tree early in the race, but he pushed on to salvage some points, and his efforts paid off. Yokley earned a top five finish, which only dropped him back to second place in the point’s race and just one point out of the lead.

Round seven of the 2015 GNCC series is the next time round on the schedule for SxS racing at the Mountaineer Run GNCC on May 23rd in Masontown, WV where the RT Pro team will be going for the top of the podium.
