RT Pro’s Pratt Brothers, Krcelich and Henry Thrill at Ironman GNCC

RT Pro’s GNCC Round 13 SXS Race Report

RT Pro racers Joe Krcelich finished out the year with a second place finish in the GNCC XC2 Pro Sport UTV Class, and Marcus Pratt just missed a spot on the podium with a fourth place finish in the XC1 UTV class at the Ironman GNCC season finale in Crawfordsville, IN.

Krcelich earned his second consecutive runner-up finish in XC2. With four podiums in six races this season, Krcelich finished second in GNCC XC2 UTV Points championship

“The RT Pro stuff worked flawlessly today,” said Krcelich. “I couldn’t ask for anything better. The equipment has been spot on all year. It’s great stuff. We did a little better this year than last year. Everyone wants to win and the championship is the goal. But after having two bad races last season while leading the points, I changed my mindset. I tried to be a consistent top-three guy. I fell a little bit short, but I’m definitely better this year than last year.”

Henry, who was in contention all season, was leading the XC2 race when a hub issue ended his day early. He ended up third in final points.

“We had a good run, and the car was great,” said Henry. “We had just started putting some time on one and two, and we lost a hub in one of the fields. The RT Pro equipment was great. We should have had a better year, but what can you do?”

In XC1, Mouse Pratt equaled his best finish of the season, a fourth. He said without the RT Pro high clearance A arms, he’d likely still be stuck in the mud.

“The RT Pro stuff is awesome,” said Pratt. “Without those high clearance arms, I’d still be stuck in some of those creek bottoms. They would have had to drag me out. I love their stuff. We’ve had some bad luck this year, but today it held together and I can’t complain, ending the season with a fourth.”

Marcus Pratt finished 11th in XC1. He said the RT Pro components helped him through a few driver errors during the event.

“My RT Pro A arms held up perfect when I had a couple of little boo-boos, and they kept me from a DNF,” said Pratt. “We’ve had a couple of issues this season. Sometimes you get a cloud over your head during a racing season. We’ll keep our heads up and keep plugging.”

With the season at its conclusion, GNCC series will celebrate its 2016 season November 25 during the season banquet in Morgantown, WV.
