The GNCC at “Big Buck” always promises a fast track, slick clay, and plenty of dust…! Well, this year was no exception! With a start time temperature close to 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky, the race was hot and fast. With four XC1 Pro Cars in a field of 33, Loud Racer, #24, Luke Paul and special guest co-pilot, Alan Feik from RacerTech had the best finish for the team in 9th place. The rest of the team finished 18th, 24th, and 29th; all battling adversities, while maintaining a never-give-up attitude.

9th place Luke Paul (#24) and co-pilot Alan Feik crossed the finish line with no power steering.

18th place Rich Curley (#33) and co-pilot Chris Murray ran three laps on a broken rim and deflated tire, relying on TireBlocks to take the checkered flag.

24th place Doug Fortner (#47) and co-pilot Julie Fortner ran a top-ten pace for the first three laps and had comparable lap times with the leaders. Unfortunately the #47 crossed the finish line with only three wheels.

29th place Dee Dippel (#724) and co-pilot Casey Mulkins caused quite the bottleneck on lap 1… Casey made a heroic effort to run back to camp twice to get tools to fix the issues and get them back on track. Unfortunately, more damage later left them stranded in a mud hole without 4-wheel drive.
