Jerry Boling used RT Pro components to propel his Polaris into a fifth-place finish during the Wild Boar GNCC UTV XC1 Pro race. The privateer racer made his GNCC debut during the season opener.

Boling said his RT Pro components made the difference on the difficult course. With 87 entries on the rough and gnarly course, Boling needed every advantage he could get.

“The RT Pro high clearance A-arms and all of the chassis components made it possible to compete on this rough course,” said Boling. “To run with these factory guys doing it as an independent is very humbling. I’d like to say thank you to my wife. We’ve had a difficult week; we lost two family members this week. She wanted me to run here.”

John Yokley switched to a Can-Am this year with the Jack’s Racing Team and was running in the lead when a mechanical issue stopped his charge within a mile of the finish.

“The RT Pro suspension components worked awesome out there,” said Yokley. “I took a couple laps to get in the flow of the track. The track was rough; there were a lot of whooped out sections and palmetto roots. We took the lead, but had a mechanical issue, but that won’t happen again. We’ll be back strong at South Carolina.”

Joe Kreclich finished second in the UTV XC2 Class race. “The Can-Am and RT Pro stuff was flawless today,” said Krechlich. “I was nervous as I could be about the course. If it wasn’t for the RT Pro A-Arms, we would have ripped the suspension off of this thing. I wish I had won, but I’ll take a second any day on a day like today. It was brutal out there. I just didn’t want a DNF here, so to get a podium is great. We’ll take this on to the next race at Big Buck.”

Coastal Racing / RT Pro’s John Henry drove a conservative race in XC2 and finished fourth. “We survived…It was really a game of survival,” said Henry. “The track was brutal. We saw a lot of carnage, backed off and tried to make it to the finish. If it wasn’t for the RT Pro equipment, it probably wouldn’t have made it. I’m just happy to finish that race.”

Sam Yokley and Jesi Stracham drove their RT Pro equipped Polaris Aces to a fourth and fifth-place finish, respectively, in the single seat race.

RT Pro UTV Racers will be back in the hunt at the Big Buck GNCC in South Carolina on April 16-17th.
